CLARIFICATION UPDATE (11/25/2020) NEW GUIDELINES & PRACTICES / HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

LSC FAMILIES:

We wanted to take a moment to let you know how thankful we are to have members like you. We wish you and your family nothing but the best this Thanksgiving and throughout the holiday season.
As a reminder, there will be
NO CLASSES OR LEAGUES beginning TUESDAY November 24th through SUNDAY November 29th. We look forward to getting back on the turf on MONDAY November 30th.
The State of Nevada has clarified its mandate on face coverings as it pertains to the LSC. After Governor Sisolak press conference we thought he had mandated a “mask at all times” policy even when playing soccer on the field. We have learned through the clarification issued yesterday that this is NOT the case.
During the pause, we are still allowed to play league games and practice under our approved LSC Sports Covid-19 Preparedness & Safety Plan with the Nevada’s Department of Business & Industry. We will continue to abide by those strict requirements and strong safety plan.
Here are the clarified guidelines & practices for all league operations starting at 12:00AM, November 24, 2020:
Masks must be worn at all times when in the facility, but are NOT required when on the field during games or practices. Masks MUST be worn at all times by parents, coaches and players that are not actively playing. MASKS must be worn when in the players box for all players born 2009 and before. [LSC recommendation: find a good sports mask that is well designed for sports activities that can be worn around the neck to make the transition easier from field to player’s box.]
No Spectators for adult and youth leagues. For Youth Leagues, only 1 adult per registered child. (We are sorry that we have to require this but it is the Governor’s directive.)
Of course if you have any family members with health risks, or are at any time feeling sick, ill or under the weather in the slightest, or have a pending Covid test, DO NOT ENTER THE FACILITY FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL CONCERNED.
Thank you LSC Family.
Stay Strong. Stay Healthy.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We are so grateful for our LSC Community!
